Trendsonline reports that Danish startup Conferize today announced that they had closed a new investment round with with a multitude of business angels at a total of almost dkk 7.5 million (€ 1 million)

Along with investments Conferize also launches a number of additions to their web service. This was in part done in co-creation with none other then Stowe Boyd, creating a new way in which speakers and participants at events can tell, share and embed information on their own blog, and making it clearer what events they will participate and give presentations at.

Conferize currently has 2.5 million users and 12 million items such as photos, videos, or tweets, from thousands of conferences. Some of the events and conferences which already uses Conferize include Dublin Web Summit, Cloud Beat and Internet Week Europe
