FOAP is a platform where you can post your Iphone images for commerical purposes. The photos are sold through FOAP and the revenue is devided on a 50/50 basis between the company and the photographer.
Sydsvenskan reports that foap received 3.5 M SEK from a Korean investment corporation called Jade Global Investments. This money will be used to further develop and market their App which was launched in June this year. The viability of the venture lies in attracting many users in order to create variety in their database, a thing that buying companies are looking for. So far FOAP has attracted 150.000 users which together uploaded over 1.4M pictures and quick growth could possibly be achieved with new investments.
