Technology has already become an inseparable part of everyday life, so why not maximize its use in specialized areas, like healthcare?

With that idea in mind, as well as an aspiration to “revolutionize health”, Lund-based lean accelerator Health2b opens an application for the second batch of tech startups with focus on health.

“Our vision is to make a real contribution towards improving health using digital tools. We’re looking for teams with a special passion and driving force,” – says Stefan Mossberg, Accelerator Manager for Health2b.

The Accelerator program runs for 3 months and is built upon principles of lean startup. It is located in Smile incubator at Medicon Village, which is known as the most exciting health and life science center in Europe. The accelerator has built a strong network of mentors and advisors that represents a really vast array of competences and skills, including entrepreneurs, executives of large companies, researchers and practicing health specialists.

“The time we spent in the accelerator program was a great investment with a direct payoff. Health2b made it possible for us to move faster and in a more focused direction,” – shared Mårten Regnell, CEO of Instant Advice, a previous participant.

The Accelerator program has a very strong focus on a team, so a complementary combination of background, competence, expertise and education between team members is an advantage. Optimal team size is a crew of 2-3 people. Larger teams are welcome, but individual applications will not be taken into consideration.

The program will kick off on October 24th for 10 selected teams and will run until the end of January.
