Lund-based Ideon Innovation has a change of leadership. As incubator’s previous CEO Rickard Mossel moved on to Xintela as a head of business development, Anna Branten became Ideon Innovation’s new chief. She assumed her new position December 1st, writes 8till5.

Anna has been working with business development at Ideon Innovation for about a year and has a good knowledge of the environment. There are no plans of radical changes at the incubator, but according to Anna she’d like to see more diversity in the type companies at Ideon Innovation.

“Proximity to Lund University traditionally opens up opportunities for technology companies. And it’s no secret that they are often dominated by men. In addition, there are recent reports that show that the majority of venture capital goes to the male founders. I want to take a closer look at this phenomenon. How can we also get more women and companies with a different profile?,” – says Anna Branten.

According to Anna all the new and exciting things occur at the interface between different perspectives and disciplines. And that’s why it is important to have diversity.
