The first innovative minds behind fresh startups and their supporters kick-started the HandsOn Startup Tour 2015 a couple of weeks ago in Berlin. And they had a truly amazing experience according to one of the team leaders. As part of the HandsOn.TV’s 7-country tour, the next competition night is held today in Copenhagen in partnership with Carrefour and LeWeb. 8 local teams, who entered the Copenhagen contest will have a lively afternoon of competition, followed by a casual evening of networking and drinks.

HandsOn.TV is a global video platform to Discover, Learn & Share Entrepreneurship Content. They are crossing Europe once again to explore the most dynamic ecosystems and identify the brightest European startups. There will be competition nights in seven cities and at the end of each night, two victorious teams will be sent with the support from Microsoft to the Finals event in Paris on November 26th.

In the Finals, 7 victorious startups will be selected to spend a week in the Silicon Valley to be immersed in an innovative ecosystem. The 7 winning teams of young entrepreneurs will participate in an educational program at one of the most renowned universities in the Valley and they have the opportunity to network with fast-growing companies, meet with potential investors and discover the local entrepreneurial mindset. The CEO of HandsOn.TV and the founder of the Startup Tour, Rodrigo Barros, will support the young entrepreneurs in their program.

As Copenhagen is one of the most dynamic startup scenes in Europe, the HandsOn Startup Tour 2015 could not miss the opportunity to visit this unique city and select its most promising startups. The event, supported by CSE – Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship –, will take place in the CBS campus. The eligible startups had to come up with a product or service, B2B/B2C or any industry, be less than 3 years old and with less than $2M in financing. In each city, the selected contestants will be given a chance to enter a fast-paced 90 seconds pitch competition where they get to present their projects to a qualified jury formed by local investors, entrepreneurs and specialized press.

Regarding the general public, they get the opportunity to vote for their favorite startup on HandsOn.tv.
