Tuesday January 20th
GOTO Night: Docker Orchestration: Step-by-Step

Mark Coleman will present a simple Docker orchestration and build up towards more complex examples. As you progress, he will explain the various techniques and classifications of tools being used. His goal is that you will leave with a better understanding of the topic, and a better vocabulary with which to discuss it.

Tecpoint workshop: How agile are we? How agile should we be? (Invitation only!)

‘How agile are we? How agile should we be?’. The program: first participants briefly present how agile they are/should be. Then we look at what existing ways to describe and qualify agility. Finally we workshop on a fast and simple way to measure/describe/quantify your own agility. Note: You need an invitation from Tecpoint to participate. Invitations are limited to people who want to contribute and have a special interest in the topic.

CocoaHeads Hackathon
10:00 am – 6:00 pm, @ Citrix Podio, Skelbaekgade 2
A hackathon for everyone to get together and work on some cool apps and perhaps learn something new. Saturday will kick the whole thing off with breakfast around 10am and move on to pitching ideas and talk about what everyone wants to work on. You can work on some of your own stuff or team up with somebody to hack on the next big thing. Sunday will be spent by continuing to work on the projects, with a final presentation at 4pm showcasing everyone’s creations.

AW Seminar – A peek at Kotlin

This talk for developers interested in Kotlin, “a statically-typed programming language that runs on the Java Virtual Machine and also can be compiled to JavaScript source code”, requires no prior experience in Kotlin, but assumes you are familiar with object orientation and to some degree functional programming in terms of closures/lambdas and higher-order programming.
