So far this year, Sib Solutions has doubled its contracted annual recurring revenue (CARR) in the US, and the company has now raised 20 million kronor, approximately €1.7 million, from new and existing shareholders, including its largest single owner, Scania Growth Capital. CEO and co-founder Stefan Borg would not disclose the full details, but told Rapidus that more than half of the company’s revenue now comes from markets outside the Nordics, with average CARR growth of 30 to 40 percent.

The vision is to reach profitability in 2027, although Borg stresses that the company could be profitable today if it turned down its growth targets.

“We don’t want to gamble away our growth opportunities. Right from the start, the plan was to become a leading global player in our niche. We have invested heavily in building a structure that can handle strong growth, and now we will invest even more to accelerate further,”

The founding team’s story began about two years ago while working at a large international firm, seeing processes in all shapes and sizes while witnessing the LLM revolution first-hand. They felt that humans should do human work, instead of spending their days copying data between systems.

The problem they identified? Companies don’t trust AI agents enough to actually do anything important. Anyone can create an agent today, but making it reliable, secure, and compliant enough to actually deploy it is another story. That is the gap OAIZ aims to fill, taking on players like n8n and Replit with a simple promise: vibe processing that you can trust.

The company already has early customers, and workflows are running at its home municipality, Malmö stad.

“It feels good to help deliver higher-quality public services at a lower cost and contribute to our society and the common good,”

wrote co-founder Daniel Wisenhoff in announcing the round.

Mapping the startup ecosystem

Two initiatives played a central role in the discussion: Øresund Startup News, where we cover the latest news of founders, startups, and innovation across the region, and the Öresund Startup Map, a platform designed to make the startup ecosystem easier to explore.

On their website, Öresund Startup Map comes with an actual map of startups in the region; not only that, they have updated events people can sign up for, and job opportunities across Skåne and Greater Copenhagen. By the time of its launch, the map already has 900+ organizations free to explore.

This lunch talk at HETCH highlighted a simple but important challenge for the Øresund startup ecosystem, which is to connect people with opportunities that already exist nearby and to build awareness of what is happening in the region. 

For Øresund startups, the takeaway is clear. Building a stronger cross-border ecosystem is not only about creating more events, but it is also about helping people discover what is already happening across the cities and the other side of the bridge.

Founded by Christian Pind Schmidt and Frederik Buchardt, both formerly of Danish real estate investor Thylander Group, Cortas is entering the less glamorous field of property management. Since June, the two founders have launched the company, built its software, signed their first property investor customers, and closed the round.

The core idea: bring property management and the software behind it under one roof. Today, the two are typically provided by separate companies. Cortas develops its own tools and uses them to manage clients’ properties, automating routine administrative work so employees can focus on tasks requiring professional judgement and personal contact with owners and tenants.

The company describes itself as AI-native, but the founders caution against technology for its own sake.

“We don’t think property management becomes fundamentally different just because you put a chatbot on top of old workflows. The opportunity lies in rethinking how the work itself is organised and carried out in a new technological context. In practice, that means being able to build software in-house and test new approaches every day,”

said Pind Schmidt, co-founder and CEO.

Cortas is targeting a Danish beachhead market worth roughly €270 to €400 million, dominated by established providers DEAS, Newsec, and CEJ, which together account for more than a third of the market.

“Cortas won’t be the only company trying to rethink property management. What matters to us is that we believe this team has the potential to succeed. Christian and Frederik combine tremendous drive and ability to execute with first-hand experience from the property investor’s side,”

said Christian Dalsgaard, who led the investment for PSV.

The new funding will be used to develop the technology further, grow the team, and establish Cortas as an alternative to the established property managers.

Veck built a product combining founder activity, emerging company signals, and investor attention with human review, helping early-stage funds discover founders beyond their existing networks, often before their companies became widely visible.

The funding marks the next stage for a company founded to solve a long-standing problem that stayed unsolved for decades because of the limits of technology. Since then, Plinto has built a platform that reviews and acts on thousands of transactions every day, with a clear vision: finance should happen in real time, just like the business itself. The new funding will help the company develop its product faster and expand into new markets, helping more companies realise the potential of AI and make the shift into a future of real-time finance.

“On the market side, it was very much down to my own background. I’ve tried to fix this problem myself. The essence is that they understand that to change how finance works, you have to go all the way out to where a transaction starts, and give the company the platform to build controls that fit its reality,”

People Ventures is a Nordic operational early-stage fund whose team works closely with founders on finance, go-to-market, and sales, with previous investments including Pandektes, Hosted.ai, and After Technologies.

The other investor, Emblem, is a European early-stage venture capital firm with a strong network, track record, and on-the-ground presence in Paris, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and London. Its portfolio includes Lovable, Pillar, Pivot, and The Mobile-First Company.

For the Øresund region, the fund is more than a Stockholm story. Europe faces a defining moment, with technological sovereignty, energy security, and industrial competitiveness as strategic priorities. It is the second time this year that Innoscentia is recognized internationally. In May, the company was named one of three winners of the SAVE FOOD Design Award 2026 at the international packaging fair Interpack in Düsseldorf, out of more than 100 entries judged by a jury with representatives from the UN organizations FAO and UNIDO as well as the World Packaging Organisation.

Good to Eat is a sensor placed in the packaging that measures the biomarkers formed when meat or fish starts to go bad, regardless of the best-before date. The colour shows the result: blue means the product is good to eat, red means it has spoiled. The goal is to extend durability beyond the best-before date and reduce food waste.

The jury describes the solution as a strong innovation with great potential to reduce food waste, one of our biggest sustainability challenges. According to the jury’s citation, the real-time information, which is easy to understand, creates value for consumers, producers, retailers, and the climate. The entry is judged as well-founded, credible, and clearly communicated.

“We are overwhelmed and very proud. Receiving both the category prize and the Grand Prize after tough development work is a clear confirmation that Good to Eat can make a real difference to food waste,”

said Henrik Nilsson, CEO of Innoscentia.

“The Grand Prize is a confirmation that Innoscentia’s sensor is a strong innovation with great potential, both for the climate and commercially. The acquisition is the company’s seventh in three years, and it comes at a strategically opportune time. According to Omnidocs, up to 30 percent of its existing customers are looking for European alternatives to the predominantly American technology they currently use, while advances in AI increase the need to use knowledge and documents efficiently.

Although Omnidocs may not be widely known in the broader business community, it has built a substantial international business around an often overlooked but business-critical task: managing large companies’ documents and data. Stronger Position in the US

WoodWing, headquartered in the Netherlands, develops software for organizing and storing knowledge and producing and publishing digital content, with more than 1,500 customers in over 60 countries. The company also has a substantial business in the US, one of Omnidocs’ most important markets, which currently accounts for approximately 20 percent of its revenue.

Following the acquisition, Omnidocs has more than 8,000 customers and offices in Denmark, the Netherlands, England, Germany, Switzerland, the US, Malaysia, Belgium, and Portugal. Its customers include Novo, Arla, Heineken, GN, Demant, Bang & Olufsen, ATP, BDO, Coloplast, SEB, Ramboll, Warner Music Group, and the Capital Region of Denmark.

The deal brings together two companies in which Main Capital Partners had already invested. The Dutch private equity firm acquired a stake in WoodWing in 2020 and in Omnidocs Group in 2024.

Founded in 2022 by Casper Laursen and Søren Brokær, Pandektes aims to challenge the traditional legal research market, where established providers have long dominated access to legislation, court decisions and other legal information.

Rethinking How Legal Information Is Accessed

While much legal information is publicly available, collecting, organising and keeping it updated across different jurisdictions remains a complex and resource-intensive process. Pandektes uses AI to collect, structure and connect legal sources, allowing legal professionals to research legislation and case law through a single platform. The system is designed to make legal research faster while keeping information traceable to its original sources.

Growing Across Europe

Pandektes currently serves more than 500 law firms, businesses and public institutions, with operations in Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. The company reports sixfold revenue growth over the past year, with approximately two-thirds of organisations that trial its platform becoming paying customers.

The new funding will support further expansion across Europe and North America, alongside team growth and continued development of its technology.

Pandektes’ ambitions extend beyond replacing traditional legal research platforms. The company is developing an infrastructure layer that will allow other legaltech developers to access structured, continuously updated legal information through an API. Rather than requiring every new AI-powered legal application to build its own legal database, Pandektes wants to provide a shared foundation of reliable legal data.
