The acquisition is the company’s seventh in three years, and it comes at a strategically opportune time. According to Omnidocs, up to 30 percent of its existing customers are looking for European alternatives to the predominantly American technology they currently use, while advances in AI increase the need to use knowledge and documents efficiently.

Although Omnidocs may not be widely known in the broader business community, it has built a substantial international business around an often overlooked but business-critical task: managing large companies’ documents and data. AI only makes this more important, as errors and outdated information can more easily be reused and spread through contracts, reports, and customer letters.

Stronger Position in the US

WoodWing, headquartered in the Netherlands, develops software for organizing and storing knowledge and producing and publishing digital content, with more than 1,500 customers in over 60 countries. The company also has a substantial business in the US, one of Omnidocs’ most important markets, which currently accounts for approximately 20 percent of its revenue.

Following the acquisition, Omnidocs has more than 8,000 customers and offices in Denmark, the Netherlands, England, Germany, Switzerland, the US, Malaysia, Belgium, and Portugal. Its customers include Novo, Arla, Heineken, GN, Demant, Bang & Olufsen, ATP, BDO, Coloplast, SEB, Ramboll, Warner Music Group, and the Capital Region of Denmark.

The deal brings together two companies in which Main Capital Partners had already invested. The Dutch private equity firm acquired a stake in WoodWing in 2020 and in Omnidocs Group in 2024.

Founded in 2022 by Casper Laursen and Søren Brokær, Pandektes aims to challenge the traditional legal research market, where established providers have long dominated access to legislation, court decisions and other legal information.

While much legal information is publicly available, collecting, organising and keeping it updated across different jurisdictions remains a complex and resource-intensive process. Pandektes uses AI to collect, structure and connect legal sources, allowing legal professionals to research legislation and case law through a single platform. The system is designed to make legal research faster while keeping information traceable to its original sources.

Growing Across Europe

Pandektes currently serves more than 500 law firms, businesses and public institutions, with operations in Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. The company reports sixfold revenue growth over the past year, with approximately two-thirds of organisations that trial its platform becoming paying customers.

The new funding will support further expansion across Europe and North America, alongside team growth and continued development of its technology.

Pandektes’ ambitions extend beyond replacing traditional legal research platforms. The company is developing an infrastructure layer that will allow other legaltech developers to access structured, continuously updated legal information through an API. Rather than requiring every new AI-powered legal application to build its own legal database, Pandektes wants to provide a shared foundation of reliable legal data.

Nélida Leiva Eriksson of Ironic wins the county prize for BioHeme, a solution addressing one of the world’s largest global health challenges, iron deficiency. Using a patented, plant-based heme protein produced through precision fermentation, BioHeme enables significantly higher iron absorption while avoiding the side effects of traditional supplements. The jury highlighted the company’s strong scientific foundation, clear commercialization strategy, and secured financing as creating good conditions for global launch in both supplements and food products.

Vahid Sohrabpour of Saveggy wins for an innovative, plant-based edible coating that extends the shelf life of fruits and vegetables while replacing plastic packaging. The solution addresses global food waste and, with verified sales in retail, clear scalability, and upcoming EU directives banning plastic food packaging, the jury sees major international market potential.
SKAPA Talent for Young Innovators

Annika John of Salt & Fiber is recognized for developing innovative, biodegradable textile fibers from seaweed that replace synthetic materials and reduce microplastic emissions. The solution tackles the textile industry’s major environmental challenges while benefiting the marine environment by making use of seaweed waste from beaches.

Rohon Kundu of NodeXCloud wins for an innovative solution for secure, decentralized cloud storage, where data is encrypted, fragmented, and distributed to eliminate vulnerabilities associated with centralized systems. With a strong research foundation, patented technology, and ongoing pilot projects with international customers, the jury sees significant global market potential and ambitions to establish a European standard for secure cloud storage.

TODAY has built an AI sales operating system for financial and insurance advisors that transcribes client meetings, handles routine backoffice tasks, coaches advisors on their sales success, and answers incoming calls.

Founded in 2024 by Michael Gackstatter, CEO, and Artem Demchenkov, CTO, who previously held roles at fintechs and insurtechs including CLARK, Funding Circle, and Billie, the company already counts more than 3,500 advisors at insurers, distributors, and brokers among its users. Advisors using the platform see up to 10 percent more revenue, save on average 5 hours per week on administrative work, and capture on average 50 times more insights from each client conversation than before.

The round comes as pension reforms, market consolidation, and increasing regulatory load push advisors to serve more clients with the same resources, while consumers rapidly adopt AI. Founded in 2021 by Christian Olson, SmallClaims has developed a platform that uses AI agents to manage the entire litigation process, from legal assessment and settlement to filing, judgment, and enforcement. The platform has reduced manual case handling time from more than 15 hours to around 1.5 hours per case. The company’s legal team currently reviews the agents’ work and appears in court when cases remain unresolved before a hearing.

“Every year, European businesses write off more than €930 billion in claims – not because they’re not owed the money, but because a court case over a €2,000 invoice takes 15+ hours of legal work and often more than a year. So they let it go,”

SmallClaims serves more than 500 customers, including debt collection agencies, law firms, and businesses handling large volumes of outstanding invoices. In 2025, the company processed more than 3,200 cases, with case intake growing by over 370 percent between 2023 and 2025, and reports a win rate of more than 90 percent.

“The court system was built for an era in which a lawyer sat with every single case. That makes sense for a €1 million dispute, but not for a €2,000 invoice. The consequence is that European businesses give up hundreds of billions of euros they are legally owed every year. With the fresh capital, the company plans to further develop its AI platform, expand into additional European markets, and grow its team in Copenhagen. The goal is to make litigation over smaller claims more cost-effective by automating legal work that would otherwise require significant time and resources.

The IPO values Prisjakt at approximately €61 million (SEK 675 million), based on a share price of SEK 31. That is nearly 80% lower than the valuation of more than SEK 3 billion (around €273 million) that was discussed just in February, when the company first aimed for a spring listing that was postponed in March amid market turbulence.

The Google Lawsuit

On October 9, Prisjakt filed a lawsuit against Google with the Swedish Patent and Market Court, claiming SEK 21.4 billion (approximately €1.95 billion) in damages. The company argues that Google abused its dominant position by favoring its own price comparison service in search results – both during the period covered by the EU Commission’s 2017 Google Shopping decision and afterwards. The lawsuit follows a landmark ruling in July, when the same court ordered Google to pay approximately SEK 14.3 billion (about €1.3 billion) to competitor Pricerunner, the largest award ever in a Swedish competition case. Pricerunner had claimed SEK 77 billion (around €7 billion), and Google has appealed both that ruling and rejects Prisjakt’s claims, calling them “completely unreasonable,” according to TT.

Where the Billions Would Go

Now, Rapidus made an overview of where the money would go, and talked to the CEO Peter Greberg. According to the prospectus, if the full claim is awarded, the distribution would look roughly like this:

• Around 50%, SEK 10.7 billion (approximately €975 million), goes to Norwegian Vend Marketplaces (formerly Schibsted), Prisjakt’s former owner. Vend retained the right to part of a future damages award when it sold the company to private equity firm eEquity for approximately SEK 483 million (around €44 million) in 2025.
• The external litigation financier, which funds the case and is not named, first recovers its costs plus a return, then shares in the remainder – roughly SEK 5 billion (around €455 million) if the full claim is awarded.
• Of the roughly 25% remaining for the Prisjakt group, 80% goes to new preference shares created just before the lawsuit was filed. These are held only by current owners and management – eEquity holds about 36% – and are not part of the listing.
• Only about 5% of the gross amount, roughly SEK 1.1 billion (approximately €100 million) before tax, would remain with the listed company and its common shareholders.

That would still be nearly 1.6 times the company’s entire IPO valuation, and Peter Greberg defends the structure.

“It is true that the majority of any damages will not go to common shareholders. At the same time, one can discuss what is meant by ‘to any greater extent,’ considering the significant amounts the lawsuit covers. Even the portion going to common shareholders could be substantial, depending on the outcome. Prisjakt is valued based on its operations, profitability, and long-term growth prospects, while shareholders still share in any damages award,”

Peter Greberg told Rapidus,

If Prisjakt wins a similar proportion of its claim as Pricerunner did, just under a fifth, the award would land at around SEK 4 billion (approximately €365 million), with common shareholders’ share shrinking to a couple of hundred million kronor.

A final ruling in either case is realistically several years away, as both Pricerunner and Google have appealed the July verdict, which is expected to be precedent-setting. For now, investors in the October 23 listing are essentially buying Prisjakt’s core business, not its billions in potential Google damages.

Sevren grew out of years of AI research at the fintech company Monthio, which processes large amounts of financial transactions data for customers like Danske Bank. The team, led by Indika Engholm, pushed models to handle large amounts of financial information in very long context windows, and realised the learnings extended far beyond financial services. Monthio has now spun out that foundational work as an independent AI lab.

The company launches with two core technologies. HEIMR is a sparse attention architecture designed to help AI models focus only on the relevant parts of a context, delivering comparable results with less computation and memory, potentially allowing advanced models to run locally on smaller devices with very long context windows. Faberon is a research and optimization engine supporting controlled recursive self-improvement, using AI to test and improve AI methods in repeated, controlled iterations.

“Sevren grew out of years of building AI for real-world financial applications at Monthio. As we pushed the boundaries of what AI could do, for example with our demand for very long context lengths, we realized our learnings extended far beyond financial services. Sevren allows us to focus on developing the technologies behind the next generation of efficient AI while continuing to share our work openly with the wider community,”

Computing Backbone on Gefion

Last month, Sevren announced a partnership with DCAI, giving it free access to Gefion, Denmark’s sovereign AI supercomputer, including NVIDIA DGX B300 systems powered by Blackwell Ultra GPUs. The team was live on the infrastructure less than a week after signing the agreement, and early testing on Gefion has already produced promising results: rebuilt open-weight models show significantly improved compute efficiency while maintaining output quality, with results extending beyond language models to fields such as image recognition.

“Sevren’s models must be accessible to everyone. Not just in Denmark, but throughout Europe. Our aim is first and foremost to establish new collaborations in the research community and in business. We are developing new models that shorten the path to AI sovereignty in Europe, but it will only really matter when researchers and companies actually use the technology and help develop it themselves,”

A Boardroom of Heavy Profiles

The European angle is the case itself. Sevren positions itself in the debate on European AI sovereignty, where access to chips and data center capacity has become a strategic issue. If Europe cannot match the largest American players in raw computing power, the lab’s thesis is that it must compete on efficiency and openness. Faberon is built in part to mitigate the structural disadvantage of limited resources in European sovereign data centers.

Sevren is backed by the same strong team of investor profiles that backed Monthio, which raised € 10 million (75 million DKK) just over two years ago with EIFO contributing 7 million. The angels include Jakob Ekkelund of Templafy, Rikke Kjær Nielsen of EQT, Hans Henrik Hoffmeyer of Coinfy, Glenn Söderholm, formerly of Danske Bank, Klaus Holse, formerly of Simcorp and Tink, Carlsberg CEO Jacob Aarup-Andersen, Peter Hermann of Goldman Sachs, and Peter Rørsgaard of Trifork.

The burden of proof in the field is high. Documented adoption, sustained research output, and credible open-source execution will decide whether Sevren makes a difference in the European AI landscape. But as an attempt to turn Europe’s resource scarcity into a technological advantage rather than another explanation for losing the AI race in advance, the spinout is well worth following.

The answer Noorlytics gives is simple in principle: instead of bringing sensitive data to AI, bring AI to where the data already is.

The insight came from hands-on experience. Working with a large and sensitive codebase, Aisha Kujović wanted to use AI to understand and upgrade it, but was limited to not sending sensitive code or information outside the organisation.

“I identified the problem while working with a large and sensitive codebase. I wanted to use AI to help me understand and upgrade it at scale, without sending sensitive code or internal information outside the organisation. So I built my own platform that uses an open AI model on my own machine.”

Now Noorlytics has been selected for the Øredev Emerging Tech Program 2026 and founder Aisha Kujović will present the work in Malmö this autumn.

Noorlytics assesses code health and connects technical findings to business risk, flagging vulnerabilities, outdated dependencies, or technical debt that could create security, operational, or compliance risks for the organisation. The bigger idea is that AI should help organisations make better decisions about their technology, without forcing them to give up control of sensitive data in the process.

The platform has already been built and tested, and Kujović is keeping it open source at this stage. She wants people to be able to try it, challenge it, and help identify where it creates the most value, letting the technology prove itself before building a commercial layer around it, similar to how companies such as Neo4j had strong open-source roots early on.

Over the next year, the focus is to move Noorlytics into real organisational use, work with companies that have complex software environments and sensitive information, and turn the strongest use cases into pilots and eventually a commercial product.

Viviotex is redefining healthcare documentation with AI. Its solution captures doctor-patient conversations, generates accurate clinical notes in real time, and integrates seamlessly with electronic health record systems, freeing clinicians to focus more on care and less on admin.

Opus Dental develops and operates practice management systems for private and public dental clinics, with offices in Sweden, Finland, and Iceland in addition to Norway. It is today the most widely used dental practice system in the Nordics, with more than 25,000 users across over 3,500 clinics, and Opus Systemer AS is part of the Finnish Planmeca Oy group.

The integration means dentists will be able to use AI-assisted clinical documentation inside the system they already work in. VivioDent covers clinical notes, procedure coding, periodontal and dental charting, and custom templates and phrases.

The company plans to use the new financing to continue expanding and scaling up across Europe, where it is currently active in eight markets. Yazen combines weight-loss medication with continuous digital care from a multidisciplinary team. The company cites more than 50,000 patients currently in its care and over 70,000 patients helped in total, who have collectively lost more than 880 tonnes.

The round lands larger than previously indicated. A few months ago, co-founder Magnus Nyhlén told Rapidus that Yazen planned to raise a €30 million Series B funding round, but the now announced financing turned out bigger and is not explicitly described as a Series B.

Yazen was founded in 2021 by Fredrik Meurling, Magnus Nyhlén, and Martin Carlsson. The company announced a €19.5 million Series A funding round in late 2024, and in early 2026 secured a €6.5 million credit facility from HSBC Innovation Banking. Previous investors include Luminar Ventures, Aggregate Media, Fåhraeus Startup and Growth, Helsana HealthInvest, Almaz Capital, and Yabeo.

Swedish Tech News reports that Yazen has not published its annual report for 2025 yet, but shared earlier this year that revenue in 2025 almost doubled to € 29.4 million, with a year-end ARR of SEK 372 million.
