]]> Startup BIMobject, with a service that lets you visualise products digital, earlier this week announced that they will apply for being listed at the NASDAQ OMX First North.

BIMobject is active in the Building Information Model sector för AEC (architecture, engineering and construction). All of the founders are early pioneers in the area of CAD and BIM, having worked all over the world and with a deep knowledge of the technologies. Their services help architects and consultants work together better by sharing data and being able to check for inconsistencies and clashes. They deliver drawings that are an automatic output from the information model, where all plans, sections & elevations are generated automatically and are kept updated all the time.

Great success in short time

The startup, founded in 2011, recently surpassed 400 000 downloads and boasts along list of impresse companies working with their services, such as 3M, Miele, Mitsubishi, AGA and many more.

]]> The 2013 Red Herring Europe 100 finalists have been released. On the list are a large selection of different startups, and no less then 15 from our region. As usual the startups are in different categories: internet, mobile and software being the most frequent ones.

The following startups from the Copenhagen region made it:

Finalists from earlier years from this region inlude: Atosho, Bownty and Octoshape.
With 15 startups on the top 100 it shows the potential of this region. 15 is also more then the 13 startups from the Stockholm region that are on the list!
