]]> Klimate is a Copenhagen-based startup founded in 2020. It plans to use the funds to launch internationally and eliminate millions of tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere by using a combination of natural and technological solutions. The start-up has been helping several companies to compensate for their inevitable CO2 emissions through portfolios of Carbon Removal projects.

Klimate has now announced they raised €730k from The Footprint Firm, &grow Ventures, Rockstart, Vækstfonden.

“The team behind Klimate has impressed us with their strong drive to assist companies that are serious about reducing their greenhouse gas emissions. We are happy to co-invest and thereby also contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.” Commenting on the investment, Rune Thiel, CEO, and co-founder of Rockstart.
