Copenhagen-based startup RejsRejsRejs.dk is an online travel magazine, and it was founded two and a half years ago by Jacob Gowland Jørgensen and Jens A. Skovgaard Andersen. The startup has been accelerated by several entrepreneurship programmes.

Although their journey has not been an easy one, Rejsrejsrejs.dk has reached success in Denmark and beyond, and its founders have shared some of their story with us.

As newbies RejsRejsRejs.dk participated in Copenhagen Business School’s entrepreneurial programme, CSE. The entrepreneurial coaching that they received in the incubation period, according to the startup, was crucial. Thanks to the support of the programme’s business development consultants, they were able to clear the first hurdle on their quest to the success: defining the core product.

Fast forward to autumn 2019, when RejsRejsRejs.dk was not only chosen to be partner in an intensive start-up programme, AKA Startup, but also managed to successfully complete the quest and come out on top. RejsRejsRejs.dk is now Denmark’s number one online travel magazine and reaches more than 325 000 readers per month via their 10 channels.

“We are utterly proud of accomplishing this key milestone within only two years. It gives us the motivation to keep on working tirelessly on our brand, support our customers in the best possible way, and to aim at expanding across borders and bridges”.

With that in mind, RejsRejsRejs.dk is working on reaching out to even more readers within Scandinavia. Slowly but steady it is happening, since RejsRejsRejs.dk now can track readers from across the Øresund Bridge, mainly in Malmø. RejsRejsRejs.dk sees a great potential in the Swedish market, especially since the startup also presents a variation of ways and choices on sustainable travels.

Growing as a company means that the entrepreneurial journey continues. RejsRejsRejs.dk see their responsibility of sharing their experiences and helping other start-ups as a great opportunity:

“We definitely recommend a start-up programme, since the focuses on supporting entrepreneurs in the gruelling early stages of starting and building a business is crucial. It’s something we found very helpful when we embarked on our life-changing adventure. An adventure that we recommend anyone to try out at least once”.
