TechBBQ that was marked by a great spirit and community feeling last year is now scheduled for May 20th shares TrendsOnline. Inspired by last year’s positive feedback and demand for the event, this time event organizers will try to deliver even more. The goal of TecBBQ 2014 is to offer even more experience. Attendees can count on twice as many chances of networking and twice as much time with professionals and business people. What is more exciting is that this year’s TechBBQ will be held in English!

“Our tagline is ‘Double up and extra spicy’, and we hope to live up to it . We want to create something that is bigger and more seasoned than last year. This time we also have even more successful Danish case studies included,” says co-founder of TechBBQ and founder of TrendsOnline, Daniel Laursen.

Speaker with a lot of experience

The stage is set for a solid three-course menu for hungry entrepreneurs and newly hatched startup sprouts.

  • “Startups” is for the starter, consisting of fresh and interesting startup stories.
  • “Growth” is for the main course, featuring inspirational stories from well-established founders to share their positive experiences and successes.
  • “Big Business” is for dessert, presenting crème de la crème of enterpreneurial world, where participants will get a chance enjoy experience from Whiteaway.

Extra spice to the menu includes Asger Aamund, prominent commentator and Managing Director of the Entrepreneurship Foundation. He is accompanied by equally reputable and insightful professionals, including Tim Vang (Pretotyping.dk), Tommy Ahlers (Podio), Gregers Kronborg (Northzone Ventures), Martin Friid-Nielsen (Soonr), Johannes Gadsbøll (Whiteaway), Morten Weber (CBIT) and Mads Lund (Drinkster).

“We would love to have more Danish startup’s to share and talk about their successes and in the future reach even more international grounds. TechBBQ 2014 can offer a lot for entrepreneurs, both in the form of skilled and renowned keynote speakers as well as rewarding workshops,” says Daniel Laursen.

Not just the speakers – the audience as well

The event is just as much about the speakers as the guests and audience itself. 600 participants are expected at the event, and last year the audience was a lot of the most prominent startup people. We do expect this year to have a just as strong guest-list. This is great, as it makes it possible to bump into people that have valuable experience or connections easy – or if you know what you want help with, a perfect opportunity to book a coffee at the event and get that important meeting.

So take the chance to get to know other key players in the startup scene!
