CiCada Health / Concidera Health
Surviving childhood cancer is a victory for both the victim and the healthcare system. A couple of decades ago, only 20% of all those affected survived. Today the figure is 80%. Research and care, together with patients and their relatives, have made great contributions. Now we turn our attention to the information that exists about each person who has been affected and survived in order to give back in the form of new knowledge, and faster translation into reality of what child cancer survivors can expect from their health in the future.
With the CiCADA system, Concidera Health wants to give healthcare the opportunity, through its products and services, to notify child cancer survivors,
(i) in an appropriate manner, the treatment they received as children;
ii) what risks they may run later in life as a result of childhood cancer treatment;
iii) which new risk groups can be identified
