The countdown has begun for Foodtech Forum 2025, that on the 18th of November will be gathering foodtech pioneers, investors, and visionaries set to transform how we produce, distribute, and consume food. This year’s event, themed “Foodtech as a Key for Positive Change” promises a day of great ideas, innovations, and networking opportunities.

This year the event is also scaling up. Besides its larger and international stage program it will also have a bigger exhibition hall, featuring the latest solutions from member companies in the Foodtech Innovation Network. Afterwards new options for networking have been added to get startups, scale-ups, investors, and industry leaders to meet and connect. And different pre-events for investors, such as the Connects Foodtech Pitch event and the Investor Brunch at Mindpark have been added as well.

Exhibition Hall: Taste the Future

The event kicks off with the opening of the expanded exhibition hall, where startups and innovators from the Foodtech Innovation Network will showcase cutting-edge solutions. Visitors can explore, sample, and connect with the changemakers redefining the food landscape.

Keynote Sessions: From Vision to Impact

The forum features a lineup of thought-provoking sessions designed to challenge conventional thinking and spark action:

Foodtech as a Force for System Change

Analisa Winther returns to host, setting the stage for how foodtech can unlock a more sustainable and equitable future. Elena Walden (Good Food Institute Europe) will discuss the role of alternative proteins in addressing global challenges. Andrew Merrie (Planethon) will explore futures literacy as a strategy for innovation in a rapidly changing world.

From Vision to Action: How to Scale Foodtech

Jonatan Leer (Professor in Meal Knowledge) debates whether sustainable gastronomy requires high tech or low tech. Marcus K. Adevi (RISE Research Institutes of Sweden) delves into the sociology of taste and how to make sustainable food desirable. José Peláez and Raquel Martin Rodriguez (Basque Culinary Center) present living labs as testbeds for food innovation.

Foodtech Forum Award 2025

The day culminates with the Foodtech Forum Award, honoring the “Company of the Year” for entrepreneurial success, scalability, and sustainability. The winner will be announced live by a jury of industry leaders.
