In the last weekend of April, 3D Printshopen in cooperation with Mindpark are organising a unique 3D prinitng hackathon where four teams will compete for the best 3D design solutions for real-life problems. Each team will consist of two students, two non-students and a professional designer who will visualise the team’s ideas as a functional prototype.
The event is open to everyone, and there is no requirement for previous experience with 3D designing and printing.
David Degbor, who is in charge of the event, says about the concept:
Our aim is to highlight the possibilities of 3D printing, especially for prototyping and as a tool for solving problems. We hope to get team members that are both amateurs, businessmen as well as students interested in the event.
20 People will be randomly chosen on 22nd April 2014, at 18:00 and assigned to the teams depending on their profiles. Students, entrepreneurs, and everyone excited about 3D design and printing as a part of forum direct and all are invited to apply.
