The Danish e-commerce industry gathered this week to celebrate its brightest stars at E-handelsprisen 2026, the country’s most prestigious awards for digital retail innovation.
The event highlighted standout performances in customer experience, B2B and B2C excellence, export growth, and community-building, with OMHU CPH emerging as the night’s biggest winner, taking home three awards, including the coveted Gold Award (Guldprisen).
OMHU CPH Dominates with Social-First Strategy and Global Growth
OMHU CPH was crowned the overall winner of Guldprisen 2026 for its explosive growth and innovative approach to e-commerce. In just a few years, the brand has transformed from a challenger into an international powerhouse, driven by a social-first strategy, made-to-order production, and a no-discount policy. With 42 showrooms globally, 84% of revenue from exports, and 153% year-over-year growth, OMHU CPH has redefined what it means to scale a modern e-commerce business.
The company also won Best Export E-Commerce Business and Best New E-Commerce Business, solidifying its position as a leader in global digital retail.
Collaboration and Innovation Take Center Stage
The Best E-Commerce Case (Supplier & Customer) award went to Matas + Hesehus for their long-standing partnership, which has continuously raised the bar for customer experience and operational efficiency. Their seamless integration of digital and physical channels has set a new standard for omnichannel retail.
EET Group + Vertica took second place for their pan-European B2B platform, while Eventyrsport + Vertica secured third place for their focused, value-driven digital transformation.
In the Best Cohesive Customer Experience category, BabySam won first place for its deep understanding of customer needs, achieving a 96% marketing permission rate and high loyalty. Matas followed in second place for its seamless omnichannel experience, and Champagne For Alle took third for its community-driven approach, with 63% repeat purchase rates and 50% organic traffic.
B2B and B2C Leaders Recognized
For B2B companies with online revenue under €66 million (DKK 500 million), AO Workwear won first place for its AI-driven sizing tools and strong bottom-line growth. Vetnordic and Kjær & Sommerfeldt took second and third, respectively, for their innovative digital solutions and sustainable practices.
In the B2C category under €13 million (DKK 100 million), Gastrotools won for its end-to-end product and brand strategy, while Maya Freya and Basic+Ally followed in second and third. For B2C companies over €13 million, Dilling took the top spot for its data-driven production and international expansion, with OMHU CPH and Matas rounding out the podium.
Special Recognition for Community Builders
The Special Prize for Best Community went to PlusPige for creating a safe, engaging space for plus-size women, with 8,000 daily active members and 82% user-generated content. Momkind took second place for its authentic, purpose-driven community, and Geekd secured third for its highly engaged gaming audience.
