The Impact Innovation Summit is a 24-hour meet-up is designed to bring together global change-makers from the public sector, startup, civil society, and academia to explore innovation for the common good. The event, held on the 17-18th September, will run for 24 hours straight. It is an opportunity for participants to engage with leading thinkers and innovators from around the world. The Impact Innovation Summit focuses on creating the cities, lives, and world that we all aspire to by mobilizing impact networks and uniting diverse voices from across sectors.

Speakers from Across the Globe

The first set of dynamic speakers has been revealed, and they bring a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives on impact innovation:

  • Chelsea Collier (USA), the founder of DigiCity and now at the University of Texas at Austin, is at the forefront of exploring how technology, policy, and social impact intersect. Her work aims to shape the future of smart cities and innovative public policies.
  • Fábio Duarte (BRA/USA), Principal Research Scientist at MIT’s Senseable City Lab, is pioneering new approaches to data analysis that help businesses thrive in local markets while measuring their impact on a global scale.
  • Daria “Dasha” Krivonos (DK), CEO of the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, has a keen focus on ‘megatrends’ — the forces that shape our future — and is well-versed in evaluating societal impacts. Her experience includes steering Enterprise Risk Management at Maersk.
  • Thomas Osdoba (CAN/ESP), Managing Director at NetZeroCities, brings a broad understanding of sustainability innovation across sectors. He will lead discussions on mission-oriented innovation and how uniting efforts from public and private sectors can drive real change toward a net-zero future.
