Swedish Tech News reports that Netnedge, a bootstrapped startup from Lund founded last year, is shaking up the B2B content space with its unique platform, described as a “YouTube for B2B.” The company has announced an ambitious plan to engage creators and boost traffic with the upcoming release of version 2.
The new version will pay creators $1 for each view of their video, and a referral program will allow creators to bring others onto the platform and earn an additional 10% of their revenue for 12 months. Co-founder and CEO Jesper Palmborg revealed this initiative, explaining that Netnedge will monetize by selling video engagement data to data-enhancement companies.
Palmborg also addressed concerns about potential system exploitation, stating that only logged-in users will count as views and that fraud prevention measures will be in place to ensure fair engagement.
This innovative approach is set to drive growth for Netnedge and position it as a key player in the B2B content market.
