Startup Building Blocks: How to Fund your Startup

Creating a company has many challenges that you can’t study to learn but usually need to figure out the hard way. Things like how to raise money, find co-founders, come up with a good idea for your startup, etc. Some of these are irreversible and might lead you down a path of doom. Building Blocks is a series that give overview of a topic and then companies telling their honest and transparent stories. This time it is about raising capital for your startup. The event will feature speakers from Userbin, Mapillary, Everplaces, and Form after a short overview to investments by Hampus Jakobsson.

PITCH IT! – Talk and workshop on pitching with Rick Jacobs, part 2

Rick Jacobs is an American who relocated to Sweden several years ago. Rick mainly works as a producer, organizing events and also production of TV, film and theatre. Recently, he was the producer of the show TAREQ TAYLOR’S NORDIC COOKERY – showing in Sweden on TV12 and on broadcasters in 118 other countries. He has worked over the years to source project funds for various different projects and will be happy to share the tricks that he’s learned over the years in how to find success in different kinds of cultural projects. Rick is also a very big Eurovision fan, but don’t hold that against him.
