Black Pearl is a new creative space in Lund open for cross-collaboration between business, academia and students. The idea to start such a place appeared in October of 2012 and was fulfilled this March. With a few resources and a lot of volunteer work the project has come a long way. It is now fully decorated, has a core team and hosts weekly events. The hope, however, is that the place will remain its “under construction” state so that anyone with interesting ideas could contribute. It is all about open innovation.
To celebrate the completion of the first phase of the Black Pearl, the organizers are hosting a housewarming party. Activities during the day will include lunch beat by FENA at Ideon Agora, LUSIC seminar about CSR, Barbecue in the Black Pearl courtyard, FENA Business & Beer (speech by rector of the Lund University, presentation of the projects in Black Pearl; Demola, LUSIC and more). Anyone interested in the project is welcome aboard!
