Sydsvenskan is reporting that Hampus Jakobsson and Mikael Tellhed, two of the founders of TAT (The Astounishing Tribe) have left the company and are going into a new venture together with Henrik Béen, a senior executive from Qliktech. TAT was aquired by RIM (Research In Motion, maker of Blackberry) a year ago, but Hampus has been known to say that he is “a startup kind of guy”.
Their new startup has no official name yet. According to Sydsvenskan it is about “giving organisations an easier and more structured way of viewing data and processes”. Considering TAT’s focus on UI, and Qlikviews on data visualisation, this certainly sounds like the right guys for such a venture.
