It is time for the second Betapitch to take place in Copenhagen! Just as last time, it will be held at Republikken.
Betapitch is a startup competition originating from the famous Betahaus in Berlin. The concept is simple: Pitch your idea in 5 minutes to the critical jury followed by 3 minutes questioning. In Copenhagen, betapitch addresses startups from all the Scandinavia. If you have a running startup, prototype or just a thought through idea and you look for the right audience who can help you take it further, come and join us on 20th of June at Republikken!
Aimed at early stage startups / ideas
The winning teams gets 6 months of free workspace at Republikken the awesome coworking space for creatives, intro to the investors and media from republikken’s and betahaus network are included. The winner can also “walk the plank” and pitch the startup to the international investors at Pirate Summit.
Other prizes include that Elance will give the winner $ 1000 to be spent on the platform, and ExplainerRocket will produce an explanatory video worth € 4000. And of course the winner will pitch at the betapitch | global which takes place in Berlin on the 30th of August, where the winner takes € 5000 of cash pocket money and a fully sponsored trip to Silicon Valley.
Last Betapitch was great – with startups from all over the region pitching, including Billytracker, Tasspass and iRezQ – and BikWay taking home the prize (and also the Betapitch global finals!). A good event for early stage startups or anyone wanting to get into the scene.
