The Malmö-based accelerator program :agile Nordic have recently opened for applications for their fall round. This will be the second batch of entrepreneurs to participate in the program.
As part of E.ON, :agile is a program designed to aid startups in the energy sector. They, therefore, invest both capital and knowledge in startups that develop smart products, services or business models, in order to solve the energy challenges of the world.
The program started in Germany in 2013. It has since its founding accelerated 44 startups including Finch Buildings, Drivango, and Digimondo.
To lead their nordic mentorship program :agile Nordic has gathered Hampus Jakobsson, Emilia Blom, and Carl Silbesky. The three mentors come from widely different backgrounds, but are all well versed within each of their respective fields.
“It’s not about ideas, it’s about making energy innovation ideas happen, that makes me tick and want to be part of it,” says Carl Silbersky, mentor at :agile Nordic.
The application round will be open until June 16 and the selected teams will thereafter start in October.
