Autumn is coming and so are some really big and exciting events in the Øresund area – don’t miss out on them!

Copenhagen will be hosting the big tech event – Techfestival – from 5th to 9th September. This year’s festival will be discussing the influence of technology on 10 topics: Ego, Food, Play, Learn, Create, Work, Start, Cities, Energy and Democracy. The programme includes seminars, workshops and meetups. Last year it hosted over 16 000 people. Some of the speakers include Kevin Slavin, an algoworld expert and entrepreneur within tech field, Nora Abousteit, founder of CraftJam and co-founder of BurdaStyle, Tim Leberecht, a business leader, as well as the first tech ambassador in the world, Casper Klynge.

Another festival to check out is literally called The Festival and it takes place in Malmö during the first week of September. They call themselves “the smörgåsbord” of fun events, such as workshops, parties, master classes, as well as tons of music and cultural events. Some of the events include interactive opera “Carmen”, talk shows, seminar about the influence of design, food jam with Oatly, a bike tour around Malmö and Copenhagen and yoga sessions. It is free, but you have to register online to attend them.
