There will be courses and sessions on Monday and Tuesday, and conference sessions Wednesday to Friday. With a packed program of activities, keynotes and exhibitions, this will be huge. As Art is, sessions and keynotes will be creative, provocative, and innovative.
The full list of speakers includes keynote speakers Dr. Anna B Scott, writer/dancer/researcher; Denise Jacobs, speaker/author/creative evangelist; Jens Bergensten, game developer/designer/lead developer of Minecraft; Matthew McCullough, Git trainer/speaker/author, Pontus Berg, CEO of Bergatrollet/Bacchus of renowned hacker group FairLight; and Randall Munroe, creator of xkcd/programmer/former NASA roboticist.
Art is a powerful vehicle for communication, a way to express visions that are beyond words. It plays an essential role in exploring the emotional dimensions of our lives and challenges the way we think about the world and the future. Art by essence fosters creativity and provocation, develops innovation and beauty. The event is for developers, testers, and project managers to reflect on the art of our programming processes, languages, tools, and platforms.
If you haven’t registered yet, sign up for day passes, and course and conference sessions.
