Waveium announced it has secured € 470.000 (SEK 5.1 million) in pre-seed funding. The round is backed by a group of investors, including Almi Invest, HETCH Capital, LU Ventures, and strategic angel investors.

As machines become the primary users of networks, traditional wireless infrastructure faces unprecedented demands. Waveium’s platform allows companies to integrate wireless performance directly into their products and processes, without requiring radio wave expertise.

The new capital will be used to accelerate the development of our platform and scale their operations.

Founded in 2024 by William Tärneberg, Aleksei Fedorov, Christian Nelson, and Nikita, Waveium combines deep research expertise in wireless communication, modeling, and software development with a vision to build a global tech company. The team’s background in Lund University research provides a strong foundation for scaling its innovative simulation platform.

“We’re building the tools that let businesses embed wireless performance seamlessly,”

says William Tärneberg, CEO and co-founder of Waveium.

The platform’s ability to predict system behavior in different environments in seconds can transform industries reliant on wireless connectivity, from IoT to industrial automation.

“Waveium has developed an incredibly exciting technology. There are many different applications where the company’s simulation technology can solve real problems, and it will be very exciting to be part of and support the founders on this journey.”

says Erik Larsson, Investment Manager at Almi Invest
