Companies face a new struggle: they have no insight into how or if they are mentioned in responses on AI platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity. That’s what the founders of Helsingborg-based Nimt.ai realized, leading them to develop a service that reveals how businesses appear on major AI platforms. The demand was clear: just minutes after launching their first beta version, they secured their first paying customers.
According to Gartner, traditional search is set to lose 25% of its users to AI platforms by 2026. Many businesses are already seeing sharp declines in traffic as internet user behavior shifts. One example is G2.com, one of the world’s largest software review sites, which has reportedly lost half of its traffic since ChatGPT launched.
Despite this, companies lack insight into how they are mentioned in AI-generated responses, how their visibility changes over time, and how they compare to competitors.
“As business owners, we realized we needed to understand how our visibility looked on AI platforms, and we weren’t alone. When we launched the first beta version, we got paying customers within minutes, from companies we had never even been in contact with before,”
says Manuel Lemholt Berger, co-founder of Nimt.ai.
Without spending any budget on advertising, hundreds of companies have already signed up for early access to the tool, ranging from global corporations and major SEO agencies to tech firms and advertising agencies. One reason for this is the viral traction the founders have gained on LinkedIn.
“Seeing how quickly companies were willing to pay for this service made it even clearer how massive the demand is. We are now preparing to open up the beta version to more businesses,”
continues Manuel.
Nimt.ai tracks AI visibility by showing how companies rank for key prompts, how frequently they are mentioned, and how their visibility compares to competitors. Getting started is easy—businesses simply enter their URL, and the rest is automated.
“Nimt.ai is global from day one. Whether you are a hyperlocal company in Malmö or a global brand, it works seamlessly and in any language. Soon, we will also launch a feature that helps companies increase their visibility on AI platforms,”
says Manuel.
“Marketing has always been about influencing people. Soon, AI will be the most important audience for companies to influence. We believe entire marketing departments will be dedicated to ensuring AI platforms choose their brand, and we want to be the go-to tool to make that happen. To take the lead in this space, we will need capital to scale both our product and our user base,”
says Manuel
Nimt.ai is part of Hetch’s accelerator in Helsingborg and has been invited to pitch at Skåne Capital Day on March 26, an event bringing together the most promising early-stage startups with insightful investors under one roof.
