For those who are interested in gaming and game development, join the pre-event for the Arabic Game Jam at Multiteket in Helsingborg, this Saturday 4 May for some interesting lectures and workshops. The City of Helsingborg, Media Evolution and Spelkultur i Skåne are behind the event.
The Arabic Game Jam is a 48 hour non-stop game development event where gaming enthusiasts meet professional game developers and together create game concepts for the Arabic speaking markets within and outside Sweden. AGJ 2013 will take place May 24 to 26 in Malmö, so get a taste of the event first in Helsingborg!
Lectures on gaming and game development could open the eyes of many young visitors when it comes to gaming as a possible professional career, according to Claes Malmberg, business development manager for the City of Helsingborg.
“I am also convinced that there are helsingborgers sitting with untapped skills that could bring to the knowledge and resources to those parts of the gaming industry who is interested in establishing themselves in new markets”, says Malmberg.
