Malmö-based startup Covr Security is a user-centric mobile security management platform. Its technology is applied within many sectors, such as finance, retail, medicine and gaming.

Covr Security is active in several branches of the cyber security market and is now working on an international version of bank ID.

The startup has recently received over € 2 million from a number of business angels, with the focus of sales, marketing and product development of the bank ID. The plan is to have one million users by the end of 2019.

“We sell unique encrypted mobile systems across all major verticals and aim to achieve [ten million euros] in revenue in 2025. The confidence we have received from our investors shows that they believe in what we do and that we are on the right path”, says Peter Alexanderson, the Innovation Manager and co-founder of Covr Security

Investors include Martin Randel, co-founder of the successful beverage company Vitamin Well, and former CEO and co-owner of the digital logistics company Unifaun.

Another investor is Victor Bengtsson, former co-owner of Netonnet, Resurs Bank and Solid Insurance.

“Having gone through Covr Security’s technical data and their sales and marketing plan, I feel very confident about the investment. They have done their homework, and their solution is nothing but outstanding compared to other available solutions in the mobile market”, he says.
