Minc, the incubator financed by the City of Malmö, will in march recieve a new CEO – Mårten Öbrink. Mårten has an interesting background as an entrepreneur and angelinvestor, contributing both know-how as well as with his network to the incubator. Sydsvenskan has done an interview with him, where he gives his thoughts and insights into entrepreneurship. The choice of Mårten as the CEO came as an surprise to many involved in Minc, as he has had no previous connection to the incubator or it’s network.
Minc has currently 23 different startups in the incubator, including some prominent such as the locations-based music service Tunaspot and the on-the-go pharmaceuticals from Snabboteket. Previous Minc companies include Anyfi Networks, Mobiletail and the famous airbag helmet Hovding.
Mårten is replacing Bodil Rosvall Jönsson as the CEO of Minc, Bodil who will become Managing Director at the Business Department in Region Scania.
