Finch, a pioneering AI copilot for architects, has successfully raised € 1 million ($ 1.1 million) in a recent funding round. The investment, led by new investor Ampli Ventures and supported by existing investors Inventure, Loop Capital, Loop Venture, and Emil Sjödin, will fuel Finch’s mission to transform the architectural design process through advanced AI technologies.
Founded in 2020, Finch has quickly established itself as a leader in AI-driven solutions for architects. This latest funding round follows a previous investment of € 2.5 million led by Inventure in late 2022, underscoring the confidence investors have in Finch’s innovative approach and growth potential.
“We see a clear global upswing for AI solutions in architecture and feel that the timing is perfect. The interest in Finch is greater than ever,”
says Pamela Nunez Wallgren, CEO and co-founder
Finch’s AI copilot assists architects by streamlining design processes, providing intelligent suggestions, and optimizing workflows. The platform aims to revolutionize how architects approach their projects, making the design process more intuitive and efficient.
With a waiting list of over 80,000 architects, Finch chooses to focus on its enterprise offering to ensure a high-quality user experience and continuously train the AI model in focused projects, based on real user needs and local regulations.
Hannah Meiton invest at this stage with Ampli Ventures.
“We have been following Finch for some time and are impressed with how they combine AI and generative design to transform one of the world’s most complex, yet still under-digitalized, industries. The team has a strong vision, and the technology is clearly in demand. It’s a combination we are eager to support,”
says Hannah Meiton
By the end of 2023, Finch was primarily in a pre-net revenue phase. The new funding will enable the company to further develop its AI capabilities, expand its market reach, and move closer to achieving profitability.
“Hannah’s experience in scaling SaaS companies globally will be crucial in the next phase. We have a clear strategy moving forward, and her insights will be incredibly valuable as we expand Finch into broader markets,”
