The bike rental company Donkey Republic recently extended their service to Helsingborg. The idea of renting bikes appeared in 2012 in Copenhagen as a smart solution for people who need to use a bike for a while.
The Danish company allocates 13 bikes to be stationed mainly at the Stortorget in Helsingborg, in collaboration with Travelshop. The bikes have electronic locks that can be unlocked by using an app on smartphones and then rented at any time during the day.
In total, the Donkey Republic have 6000 bikes available and currently offer their service in major cities in the EU, North America and Asia.
