Proper, a Danish company and a large property manager in the Nordic region, reports they raised one of the largest Danish seed investment of roughly €4 million (DKK 28.5 Million).

The capital investment comes from one of the Nordic investment fund byFounders with support from PreSeed Ventures, Vækstfonden, Prehype, NREP, Morten Just amongst others, but also Bjarke Ingels the world famous architect.

“Proper’s vision of making it easy for all people to live the life they want is wildly inspiring. Tomorrow’s winners are those who think about people first, and Proper does,” says Bjarke Ingels.

Founded in 2017, the startup manages more than 3,500 leases with a growth rate of over 200% by 2020. With the help of software platform, the startup makes the administration of residential and commercial leases easier for the landlords.

“Proper is one of the most interesting business cases we have seen in a long time. Not only have the growth rates been impressive. The product can also be scaled extremely efficiently, and with a later connection of, among other things, services to the tenants, the potential is enormous,” says Tommy Andersen, Managing Partner at byFounder

The investment will be used for the management of the leases demand and towards an expansion growth in Netherlands and Germany. Presently, the company is expanding the number of leases it manages by more than 350 each month. Furthermore, more than 1400 leases are expected by the end of 2021.
