This is part of the bi-weekly column by the guys at Foo Café. As always, a large selection of events, with a heavy focus on tech.
February is hectic – we’re half-way through almost 30 events. This means there are still loads of events that should be interesting to you. Check them out!
For Android devs; Malmö Droid is on February 16. The topic is “Better UI and business logic with MVVM”. The last shorthand is a design pattern to better reuse complex user interfaces. Powerful stuff.
Big news; We got a new user group – Internet ofThings (IoT). Yay!
They’re gearing up as we speak and you can join them on February 18. Follow the link above to see how the agenda evolves.
This year’s first Hackathon takes place on Saturday, February 21, with a focus on Web development: Polymer Polytechnic.
DevOps is short for development and operations. In short it addresses the need to take software development all the way out into production. The session “DevOps for the Enterprise” on February 27 takes us from definition to hands-down code.
Hungry for more? Attend the conference “Beauty in Code“! It’s a shock full Saturday with international speakers on why it makes sense to keep your code nice and shiny.
A question for you; Do you need to make someone see the greatness of your product or service or..? It’s called selling by any other name and is an art in itself. In the session “Konsten att sälja” on March 5 you will learn some of the principles that successful sales people use.
Numbers
I had a chance to look back and examine 2014. Some numbers stood out. We had 22 international speakers at Foo Café, that’s some 8% of our events!
From the start of Foo Café in 2012 we’ve had attendees – that is you – coming from 1000+ companies. That is one big number that makes us very proud!
We will release our latest news on Facebook, Twitterand LinkedIn. Be first to see what’s on a Foo Café. Subscribe to our RSS-feed.
See you soon!
