Rapidus recently reported that Telavox, a Malmö-based telecom solutions provider, is launching an incubator to support young entrepreneurs in the region. The initiative, led by Emil Linderberg, aims to provide resources, mentorship, and startup capital to foster new businesses.
The incubator offers around € 45.000 (500,000 SEK) in startup capital, along with mentorship, legal advice, and office space. In return, participating companies must become exclusive partners with Telavox. The program starts this summer, and has recently held its applications process.
The incubator program is aimed at ambitious entrepreneurs or top salespeople who are passionate about telecommunications and innovation, to be able to take the next step in creating their own business within communication solutions.
“Starting and running a company is the most exciting thing I’ve done. Can we help others do the same? I’ve always found incubators to be an exciting way to make the threshold a little lower for young entrepreneurs and encourage them to start companies. And I see the business value for Telavox; I believe we can gain a lot from it,”
says Emil Linderberg to Rapidus
Telavox hopes to select three companies for the incubator, with success measured by both business achievements and the well-being of the entrepreneurs. This initiative reflects Telavox’s commitment to nurturing local talent and innovation.
“We also have a purchase option to match any potential market price if the company receives offers to sell. Then we have the chance to buy it first,”
explained Emil Linderberg.
