2017 marks the fifth anniversary of Helsingborg-based THINK, a startup accelerator for early stage technology companies. On this occasion, the accelerator published an infographic that demonstrates its achievements over the 5-year period.
Companies like Storygami, Bilprospekt, Fieldly, and Swiftcourt have been a part of the program. In the infographic, we learn that 65% of the joining startups have received funding. 85% of the startups are still active and one company has made an exit. The startups have raised over €5,2M (50M SEK) in capital.
28% of the alumni startups have female founders. In an interview with 8till5.se, Alexander Bastien says that this is something THINK and the whole startup world needs to work on. Girls should be encouraged already in school to take an interest in technology and entrepreneurship. But Alexander Bastien also points out that THINK does rather good in comparison with many other accelerators.
