Helsingborg-based PayZlip, one of Sweden’s fastest-growing payroll SaaS companies, has successfully closed a € 650.000 (7 million SEK) funding round through a combination of new equity and non-dilutive loans. The investment highlights the strength of Skåne’s startup ecosystem and the ambition of PayZlip’s founders, experienced entrepreneurs Acke Salem, Eric Lavesson, and Jasmi Thrikediswarenathan.
The funding round attracted top-tier investors, including Pär Davidsson (former CEO of Coeli), Erik Urnes (Linden Gruppen), and Anders Williamsson (former HemoCue). It recognizes PayZlip’s potential to revolutionize payroll management for businesses of all sizes. The startup also reports that existing investors doubled their stakes, demonstrating confidence in the startups vision and leadership.

PayZlip is valued at € 5 million (54 million SEK) post-money in the funding round. The founders retain over 70% ownership after the round.
PayZlip has seen rapid adoption, with notable clients such as HIF, Däckline, Kipa, and Edument already benefiting from its advanced payroll solutions. The new funding will be used to further enhance sales efforts and product development.
