Swedish investment firm Ampli Ventures announced earlier this month it has invested €2 million in ProfitMetrics, a Copenhagen-based startup specializing in profitability analysis for eCommerce. Founded in 2019 by Frederik Boysen, ProfitMetrics introduced the “Profit-on-Advertising-Spend” (POAS) metric to help eCommerce businesses focus on profitability rather than just growth.

ProfitMetrics, based in Lyngby outside Copenhagen, but operating remotely, has grown rapidly, doubling its Annual Recurring Revenues in the past year while maintaining profitability. The new investment will be used for product innovation and scaling operations to meet growing demand. CEO Frederik Boysen expressed confidence that Ampli Ventures’ experience would support ProfitMetrics’ next phase of global expansion.

“Ampli’s strategic and analytical approach to SaaS growth, backed by years of industry experience, makes them the ideal investor and partner for ProfitMetrics,”

Adrian Iredahl, co-founder of Ampli Ventures, praised ProfitMetrics’ approach to eCommerce profitability and its ability to attract international talent. The company plans to continue leading the market in providing tools that help eCommerce businesses optimize profitability in a challenging economic environment.

“We are thrilled and honored to become co-owners of ProfitMetrics. We are impressed by the company’s visionary approach and thought leadership in how to achieve profitable growth in eCommerce. Additionally, the company has demonstrated an impressive ability to attract partners and team members globally, crucial for B2B SaaS companies looking to scale rapidly,”
