Copenhagen startup Wantr has taken part among the top European startups selected for the BizSpark European Summit 2013 in Berlin, held yesterday, 4 July, reports Trendsonline.

The BizSpark Startup Showcase featured the top startups from across Europe. Wantr was among 12 companies that made it through the rigorous selection process and were given the opportunity to pitch live to the audience, including a mix of of investors, start-ups, government representatives, journalists and Network Partners in front of a panel of expert judges.

Wantr is a virtual catalog that helps you follow your favorite online stores by letting you know when they have new arrivals. The tool allows users to gather info, ranging from large international chains to thousands of small local shops, in a personal feed with real-time product updates from the brands you have chosen to follow. We have written about Wantr in March this year when they received a major investment from SEED Capital.

Although they didn’t take the final prize, we are sure that Stefan Bech, Toke Grøfte and the team did a great job promoting the talent of the Danish startupscene!
