A Danish-based accelerator has been present in the Danish startup ecosystem for the last ten years.
This summer Accelerace is focusing on innovation from Denmark and it is taking their biggest batch of startups ever – double the usual number!
“In Denmark, we are good at incorporating new technology and thinking innovation with the user in the center of our products and services. Our job is to help the companies go from good to great and show the world what this little country is capable of,” says Peter Torstensen, CEO of Accelerace.
Being the first accelerator in Denmark, Accelerace has assisted more than 600 local and global startups since 2009. Some of the alumni include Donkey Republic, Likvido, Deligate, Trustpilot, Theeyetribe, Graduateland, Coinify and SBT Instruments.
The accelerator’s aim is to stay on top of their game to be able to create the most value for their partners and alumni, and evolve their model into the most tailormade accelerator in Northern Europe. Accelerace has been previously recognized for their ambitions and hard work, for example, winning the Nordic Startup Awards Best Accelerator three years in a row and being hailed as a top 10 accelerator program in Europe.
“Being a crucial part of the ecosystem for ten years has given us immense knowledge about what startups need to get funding and grow. Now we are taking in our biggest batch ever, collecting all our competencies. And we will be presenting a new program outline,” says Peter Torstensen.
Now, Accelerace is looking for Danish startups within any industry. There is no limits to innovation, but being ambitious, ready to receive feedback, having a practical approach and enjoying teamwork are a must.
