Cocoon Airbag Protection, a Lund-based startup, has received a grant from the Women TechEU program under Horizon Europe, becoming the only Swedish company to be awarded in the latest round. This funding will support the commercialization of Cocoon’s innovative child safety solution for bicycle transportation, featuring an AI-powered airbag system integrated into child bicycle seats.

The grant will accelerate the development of Cocoon’s groundbreaking safety technology designed to protect children in accidents. The company was chosen from over 820 applicants, highlighting the potential of its innovation, and helped by GAEU.
