Internet Discovery Day (IDD) is a dynamic one day event where future Internet stars have a chance to showcase their projects and get noticed by investors and business angels. Supported by .SE and co-organized by Startup Studio Malmo, the event is free of charge for the participants.
The concept of IDD is extremely simple. Prospective entrepreneurs are provided with a large piece of brown construction paper and some colored pencils that they can use for drawing and describing their ideas to attract visitors’ attention. Among the event’s attendees are region’s leading investors, professionals and the media. All present are encouraged to actively contribute their networks and help out exhibiting companies. In the evening the participants will get to choose the “Best in Show” and have a chance to win a few other prizes.
The person behind IDD concept is Johan Jorgensen, Internet veteran and an entrepreneur. He will be attending the happening as well. Several red-hot Internet companies such FundedByMe, Rabble, Shootitlive and Narrative Clip have also presented themselves to the world at IDD. Will you be the next rising star?
