E-commerce Park of Sweden has appointed Zhenni Liang as the new head of the Future Retail Incubator, a move set to strengthen the organization’s support for Sweden’s rapidly growing e-commerce sector. Zhenni brings a wealth of experience from her work in the startup ecosystems of both Sweden and Finland. Most recently, she led Skåne Startups and founded the impact conference The Drop, positioning her as a key figure in fostering sustainable business models within the tech and e-commerce industries.

Zhenni’s appointment marks a significant step for the Future Retail Incubator, a program that has supported e-commerce companies since 2015 by providing a platform for accelerated growth. Under her leadership, the incubator is expected to expand its focus on circular economy practices and sustainable growth strategies.

A New Leader for Sustainable Innovation

The decision to bring Liang on board reflects E-commerce Park’s commitment to evolving the incubator in response to both market demands and environmental challenges.

“Zhenni’s expertise, particularly in the Nordic startup scene, and her global connections make her an ideal leader to guide the Future Retail Incubator into its next phase. Her vision for sustainable e-commerce aligns perfectly with our goals.”

says Karsten Deppert co-founder at E-commerce Park of Sweden

Zhenni’s career has spanned multiple leadership roles in both Sweden and Finland, where she has championed startups and built strong networks across the region. Her expertise in driving innovation and sustainability will likely play a crucial role in shaping the incubator’s future direction, as e-commerce continues to grow rapidly in both Sweden and the wider Nordic market.

Strong Track Record of Success

Since its launch, the incubator at E-commerce Park, known Future Retail Incubator now, has set ambitious targets for the companies it supports, with a goal of helping them grow at twice the pace of the Swedish e-commerce market. The incubator has already exceeded expectations, with participating companies growing more than three times as fast. Collectively, these businesses now generate over half a billion SEK in annual revenue, underscoring the incubator’s role as a key driver of growth in the sector.

“I’m looking forward to helping e-commerce companies not only grow but do so in a way that prioritizes sustainability. The opportunity to combine business success with sustainable practices is something I’m passionate about, and E-commerce Park of Sweden is the perfect place to make that happen,”
