More than 500 web-based companies applied for a chance to pitch their ideas at 2014 SXSW Accelerator pitch competition at Startup Village in Austin by Oracle and only the best ones have made it! Among a handful of companies outside of the North American region is Copenhagen-based The Eye Tribe.
Back in December the Eye Tribe, that develops eye control software for consumer devices, allowing hands-free navigation, eye activated login, enhanced gaming experiences, and user engagement analytics, started shipments to developers all over the globe raising even more interest and anticipation towards its product. In the time of it’s existence the company has raised a total of about €1.3 million in funding, according to TechCrunch. Its finished product was presented just recently at the TechCrunch’s CES Hardware Battlefield.
At the 2014 SXSW Accelerator pitch competition The Eye Tribe is presented as the finalist in the Innovative World Technologies Category among seven other companies from the USA, Canada, Ireland and Slovenia. Teams will have two days to impress judges and become winners in their categories.
We wish The Eye Tribe best of luck!
