Today, the minister of commerce and growth, Annette Vilhelmsen presented an exciting initiative called Launchpad Denmark, which aims to attract promising foreign entrepreneurs to Denmark. By participating in a business plan cup, 30 world class entrepreneurs can win numerous things, amongst which improved access to the Danish market. The minister wants foreign entrepreneurs to help create growth and jobs in Denmark whilst bringing international expertise to the domestic entrepreneurial environment.
“It’s a pleasure for me to encourage entrepreneurs with brilliant business ideas and potential for growth to come to Denmark and develop and accelerate their businesses.” says Anette Vilhelmsen in a press release
Besides the abovementioned benefits, the minister says that the initiative helps to improve the cultural exchange between entrepreneurs and that it simultaneously increases the visibilty of Danish entrepreneurs in general.
