Big news this week is Trustpilot raising a massive € 67 million (over 500 DKK million) round. A lot of press about that, you can read more over at Wallstreet Journal, Nordic Startup Bits, Venturebeat, Trendsonline and 8till5. All these give interesting insights, and the Nordic Startup Bits article is highly recommended for the interview with CEO Peter Mühlmann – which gives a background story about the startup as well.
Virtruvian Partners led the Series D round, joined by Trustpilot’s earlier backers, Index Ventures, Northzone, SEED Capital Denmark and DFJ Esprit. In total, Trustpilot has raised over € 107 million in venture funding to date.
