Malmö based startup Mapillary announced that they have now officially reached 1 billion images taking by people all over the world. I huge milestone, and something to compare with when they in 2014 reached 1 million images – which was a big mile-stone back then.
“We just reached 1 billion images on Mapillary. People and companies across the world upload millions of images to Mapillary every day to get the data they need to make better maps. And better yet—the imagery and data is available to anyone, to make better maps everywhere” said the startup about the news
