On the 8th of November 2016 Copenhagen was welcoming the 14th edition of the Nordic Venture Forum (NVF). The event that took place at the Radisson SAS Falconer Hotel again proved to be a success.
Nordic Venture Forum is the most prestigious matchmaking event between tech-companies and investors in the Nordic region. Every year the event showcases the companies with the highest potential from the following sectors: Fintech, Technology, Internet of Things, Cleantech, Healthtech, Life Sciences, Food.
Over the years, the Forum has established itself as the event that best promotes the innovative, attractive and rewarding investment environment of the Nordic and Baltic countries. Thereby, the large number of participants from both industry experts, investors and promising companies arouses significant international attention. As Dorte Weine, the coordinator of the Nordic Venture Forum states:
“The event is an amazing opportunity for foreign investors to find promising for envestment companies in the Nordic region.”
Employment and Integration Minister Anna Mee Allerslev also points to the importance of events like Nordic Venture Forum:

What is more, the Forum has established an impressive history with about 60 percent of the tech-companies receiving investments following the event. As one of this year winners admits the significance of the event:

This year the Forum was a great success with more than 70 companies participated in the event. By the end of the Forum announced 19 winners. Among them Danish, Swedish and Finish startups with fresh ideas that might shape our future.
