TheFashion.com, launched in July, has just closed a € 1.3 million round of funding to expand in Europe. It plans on adding Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands to it’s list of countries, besides the current one – Denmark and England. The investment came from Copenhagen-based North East Venture Capital and Vækstfonden (Danish Growth Fund). North East Venture Capital has previously invested in both Iconfinder and Rushfiles, making the investment in TheFashion.com it’s third.

TheFashion.com is a shopping portal, working with leading e-commerce fashion stores. It works as an online aggregator that brings together the best deals from web-shops within clothing, shoes and accessories. On the website it is possible to search for both brands, designers as well as for items on sale. They also makes it easy to filter and find clothes that match your preferences, as well as making it possible to ‘follow’ products and brands. TheFashion.com also has a team of stylists that weekly curate the latest trends and updates to it’s users.

The service has a promising founding team with prior experience, including Ida from echo.it and Kasper from StartupBootcamp and Rainmaking. It will be very interesting to follow the startups process into Europe!
