Creandum, an investment fund active in Scandinavia and especially Sweden, has announced an investment of €760K ($1M) in Vivino, an wine app. Vivino lets you find and get recomendations of wines with your smartphones camera, and is creating a global database over user generated wine reviews. The company has reported good growth in it’s userbase the last couple of month, with now over 100 000 downloads of the app a month.
Creandum has made many high profile investments earlier, it’s portfolio includes startups such as iZettle, Videoplaza and Spotify. Just being a part of that is a great seal of approvement and should bode for an exciting future for Vivino.
